RICH’S NEW BOOK
The Power of Patience in a World Obsessed with Early Achievement
Late Bloomers is a groundbreaking exploration of what it means to be a late bloomer in a culture obsessed with SAT scores and early success, and how finding one’s way later in life can be an advantage to long-term achievement and happiness.
“Rich Karlgaard killed it! Great delivery and deeply insightful. His take on the 2020-24 economy and technology’s role went beyond current news. It was almost real time analysis, super relevant, humorous, and full of great data. I could listen to Karlgaard all day!”

Rich Karlgaard’s Previous Books
After the deep recession of 2008-2009, I noticed that some organizations around the world had recovered quickly. They went on to achieve even greater success. Other organizations continued to struggle – and too many failed entirely. The question became: What were the healthy organizations doing that the unhealthy were not doing? Figuring this out became my driving passion.
It led to researching and writing two books on healthy organizations: The Soft Edge: Where Great Companies Find Lasting Success and Team Genius: The New Science of High-Performing Organizations. I am passionate about sharing the insights from these books with audiences around the world.
